		Upon the Hill

	I hear the voices in the wall,
	each name deep scribed for one and all
	to see and know the lads who died,
	rememb'ring each who bravely strived
	to keep Australia free.

	Above the town, above the Swan
	an obelisk of rock and stone
	stands upon Eliza's Mount so tall
	in memory to those who fell in war
	- our young men restful be.

	This shrine of heroes stands in place,
	towering proud in God's good grace
	and so I stand and honour all 
	who fell with deep regret.
	I hear the voices in the wall
	And I shall not forget.
